Good lord.

I fear there’s a critical thinking crisis in the United States. Anyone who’s not living under a rock knows that over the past few days, the Trash Can in Chief tore down the entire East Wing of the White House. No congressional approval, no nothing. Just went ahead and hired a construction company to tear everything down.

All for a $350 million ballroom.

While the government is shut down and people are struggling to feed themselves and their famileis, while rent is skyrocketing, this megalomaniac melon is building a fucking ballroom.

But what’s even more infuriating are the MAGA hat morons trying to defend this. “Oh but Roosevelt tore everything down” they’ll claim. Right. Teddy Roosevelt rennovated the White House (before the East Wing was built) because it was literally falling apart, not for some narcissist’s vanity project.

The single dumbest whataboutism of them all though? Obama’s basketball court. American conservatives are so goddamned cooked, so brainrotted, they actually believe, without spending two seconds thinking about it, that Obama spent $300 million dollars on this:

These smoothbrains think it cost $300 million dollars for a basketball hoop and some painted lines on a tennis court. And they think this is somehow equivalent to tearing down the entire East Wing for a ballroom?

I mean, *I* could have privately funded Obama’s basketball court for Christ sake.

But to be fair to the meatheads in MAGA, he did spend that $300 million dollars on rennovations. Rennovations started by George Bush and approved by Congress. Rennovations that upgraded things, and didn’t wholly destroy entire sections.

I am so sick of the loudest voices in this country being the stupidest and the laziest voices. Like my god people, Google exists. Use it.
